Colours of Estonia. Richard Uutmaa
Richard Uutmaa acquired his art education in Tartu at the Higher Art School “Pallas”. Through the years, his work has been related primarily to Estonian landscapes composed of a sensitive harmony of colors, in which the depiction of seascapes and scenes of coastal life have been very important. The retrospective exhibition of one of Adamson-Eric’s contemporaries includes a concentrated selection of his watercolors and paintings from the 1930s to 1970s from the collections of the Art Museum of Estonia, Tartu Art Museum, and private collections.
